It's OK that Hope and company call the Elite "Jackson". Hell, I probably would to if I couldn't say it perfectly.

The issue is that the Elite said "my human name is Jackson". They don't have human names, and nor would they ever give themselves one.

If the humans use it or not is the issue. It's the fact the Elite even said he had a human name.

Manuel is giving you a legitimate criticism.

Elites are individuals with lives, heritage, and pride in themselves and their names.

They're no more likely to have "human names" than humans are to have "sangheili names."

An elite would have you call him by his name, or his rank.

If you want me to be fairly blunt, it's actually not so minor.

It shows a lack of understanding on who the Sangheili are as a culture and as a people. Which is not a minor detail, and you don't need to be well versed in the lore to know that basic aspect. The entire Halo trilogy was based around the Covenant trying to eliminate everything related to humans. That's a big reason for the glassing of worlds rather than just occupying them. It's also why Elites would rather die in combat than pick up human weapons and survive.

But as I said, you don't need to edit that one line. Continue on, and I mean it. The rest was solid, and Hope seems to have a reasonable plan.

Should me and Shadow post anything, or wait for a bit? Where do you plan to meet the "foreign" Spartans?

Manuel, you should post Siegfried finally meeting up with Blaine. I don't know where exactly you were located, so I'll assume Blaine's Pelican is waiting there for Siegfried.

12 years after Halo 4. 2569. Obviously I can't answer the second part.

...However that does raise an interesting question from me to you John. How old is Iola by then?

Spartans were augmented at around the age of 14 by the way. Assuming Iola went through the same procedure.

She was born two years before Halo 4, so she'd be 14.

Iola gets her implantation at 15, and finishes her training at 18. She wouldn't be in the fight, but she'd certainly be learning, preparing for the augments, and quite bright and opinionated at that age.

We'll assume that their is a dot in between those two points to represent that.

A few problems with your post.

1) Manny is not the guy in the Pelican, if you've been reading the other posts at all.
2) Where did the plan come from? Hope just asked a question and got an answer out of nowhere.

Siegfried wouldn't let some random Spartans on the Pelican. I don't thnk anyone would. it's more realistic I think. He'd be asking questions first.

But Blake's marines need to be dealt with first.
