But someone like you or I? A human? We "kill our own kind to win battles. An admirable quality,"
We are willing to do what is necessary to win, even if other humans must die. This the very nature of Humanity, the one we all struggle against.
There are some lines that shouldn't be crossed. Some things that shouldn't be done. We have the ability to do whatever is necessary, but is that true character?
Some lines must be crossed, if only to ensure the survival of our species.
The Master Chief is a prime example of that I think. We took children, messed around with their bodies, and stripped them of any childhood.
Was it morally right? No.
Was it necessary? Yes.
Did we win the war? Yes.
Was Humanity saved? Yes.
We are willing to do what must be done, and what Darkseid has acknowledge what other life forms will as well.
And then they will fear us... Why do you think the Forerunner tried so hard to beat us down?
We were next in line to rule the galaxy! We were cheated out of it.
Thus, our revenge shall begin.
