The Article
There isn't very much to go on with this, except for the fact that Halo 5: Guardians isn't coming out until Fall of 2015, as was previously speculated when the game was first announced back at E3 of 2013.
We also now know that Steven Spielberg's Television Series 'Halo' will be arriving at some point next year as well, which will coincide with the fifth game in the main Story-arch.
Also, as noticed by some individuals over at Halo Waypoint, the Spartan in the image in the article has an ONI symbol on their armor somewhere.
This could mean one of three things:
1: It's Master Chief, but in new kicks.
2: It's a previously announced character/a character that is yet to come.
3: It's a previously announced character/ a character that is yet to come that is charged by ONI to hunt down the rogue Spartan *i.e Master Chief*
Strangely enough, no-one has yet speculated on what the ONI Spook in the beginning of Halo 4 and Halsey had been discussing; a replacement of the Chief.
In my opinion, I believe it is said replacement that Halsey feared the Spook was talking about in the beginning of Halo 4. It only strengthens my guess further, if you look at Spartan Ops' ending, and what happens with the friendly neighborhood Dr. Halsey. If that wasn't enough, what of the ONI symbol on this new Spartan's armor?
The ONI wouldn't just send ANY Spartan down to hunt the Legendary one, no, they would only choose the Chief's true replacement. At first, I thought it might have been the Director of ONI. But it would be stupid of her to risk her neck and everything Parangosky had left her with, so that is completely out of the question.
Furthermore, it couldn't be Cortana, or even Palmer, as Frank O'Conner himself has stated that; 'The Spartan in the teaser wallpaper is not Palmer, nor is he a female.'
This leads me to believe that my theory of it being an ONI Spartan charged with replacing Chief, and perhaps even eliminating him, as correct. Because as I said before, it would make little sense for ONI to send a normal Infinity Spartan-IV to hunt down the most notorious and highly regarded Spartan-II.
But why do I keep mentioning Chief being 'hunted'? We all watched the teaser video at E3 last year *if you didn't, check the other thread in the Announcements part of the site*, why was Chief wearing a cloak?
Frank O'Conner revealed that the Chief wouldn't just wear a cloak for the hell of it, stating 'While it was convenient for our Teaser trailer, the Chief is wearing the cloak to purposefully mask his identity.'
This, again, leads me to believe that the Head of ONI, after the events of Halo 4, ordered Chief to be debriefed, especially after the loss of Cortana in the battle for Earth 2.0.
Unwilling to retire until he found closure, I'm sure the Chief flees with just enough ammo and supplies to last him on his search. With an asset so dangerous, ONI would not want Chief, if he is rogue, to potentially turn on the UNSC.

So now that I've talked to death about my predictions for Halo 5, what about the now?
There wasn't much to go by in the article, except for the interesting term; 'Journey'. As was previously speculated, my guess is the game that will be announced to release this year will be Halo 2: Anniversary.
Or at least that's what my conformist side would say. In truth, I honestly hope it would be something off the beaten path. Perhaps it could be a game about your Spartan IV doing some missions from the Infinity, a game that would lead up to the events of Halo 5.
Perhaps they might include a Halo 2 Anniversary with multiplayer on the side, but I'm personally hoping for the prior. I'd much rather have a game where 'Blaine' could be the main character, like he was in Halo Reach.
With all of this said, I guess we won't know until June 9th, but please feel free to share you own ideas, or if you find an article before I do, please post it here!
