Hello my fellow Database dwellers,
I'm typing this announcement in regards to a potential issue within the Forum's security. Earlier today, and what sounds like late last night, some personal photos and information (to my knowledge) found it's way on this board.
The user afflicted messaged me on Facebook about this. Whether or not this incident was a result of outside or internal tampering, I have made the motion to temporarily remove admin/moderator privileges from those of you that had them.
If you are reading this, please take the necessary precautions to ensure your account is secure (change your password, edit security question, etc.). This decision was not made with any malice towards any of you, and I assure you that once the issue has been resolved and there is little fear it will happen again, I will happily reinstate your ranks.
For now, those affected have been given the Admiral rank, which is the highest I can offer that does NOT have privileges to the Forum's inner workings. Again, this choice was made because I cannot pin-point the cause of this issue.
